Blue Magic Tire Dressing

What is Blue Magic Tire Dressing?

The main purpose of Blue Magic tire dressing, or tire dressings in general, is to enhance the look of tires on a vehicle by giving a glossy new looking finish. This product can take a dull tire or trim and rejuvenate it almost instantly. A dull tire can happen over time from sun exposure, dirt, grime, etc. Tire dressings add this dark and wet look once applied to the vehicle's tires – making them look new and well maintained. Not only does it enhance the look of your tires, but it also protects them from the sun and its UV rays. Blue Magic tire dressing shields the tire like a protective layer to help prevent fading while also extending their lifespan.

What is Solvent Based Tire Dressing?

Blue Magic Tire Dressing is solvent based, meaning solvents are one of the key ingredients in this product. Solvent based tire dressings contain chemicals that have very strong degreasing and cleaning properties. This makes it very easy and effective when it comes to removing dirt and unwanted residue from your tire. Solvent based dressings also last longer through washes or rain compared to water based products. Solvents work by breaking down stubborn contaminants or built up grime from the tires sidewall and trim, ensuring a clean and prepped surface. Tire Dressings can come in a variety of forms such as liquid , gel , foams, and sprays. Solvent based tire dressings are often spray/liquid form making the process much faster and easier.

How to Use Solvent Based Tire Dressing?

Each Tire dressing is different and will come with specified instructions; however, these are some general steps when using one.

  1.  The first thing you want to make sure you are doing is cleaning the tire with soap and water to get rid of any surface level dirt.
  2. Shake the bottle and apply the dressing by spraying the product on the tire and on the applicator. You can use a sponge, pad, or brush for this step.
  3. Once the dressing has been applied evenly, this is when the product will penetrate into the wheel for a few minutes. This step helps remove the stubborn grime.
  4. You will then want to use a clean microfiber towel to get rid of any excess product to really prevent any sling.
  5. The last step is to let that dry and cure. You can repeat the process – but make sure to not over apply the product.
